Miki Karni — the artist
I am Miki Karni, a painter inspired by nature, the Mediterranean and the quiet beauty of small details. My paintings bring together realism, expressive colour, texture and atmosphere.
Ancient olive trees, doors and windows, sailing boats, harbours and historic places are recurring subjects in my work. Alongside oil paintings on canvas, I paint directly on natural stone, allowing its shape and texture to become part of the composition.
My work has been collected and displayed by private collectors, companies and institutions in Israel and internationally. Some paintings have also been presented as official gifts to international leaders. My projects include a series of paintings for the Tefen car museum, commissioned by the late Eitan Wertheimer.

Who creates the paintings?
I am Miki Karni, a painter working in oils on canvas and natural stone. My subjects include olive trees, the sea and maritime scenes, doors and windows, and Mediterranean landscapes.
Are the stone paintings painted directly on the stone?
For works described as oil paintings on stone, I paint directly on the stone and incorporate its texture and shape into the composition. Each artwork page specifies its particular technique.
How can I ask about price and availability?

Can I buy a print instead of an original?
Fine art prints are available for selected works. Print type, dimensions and availability vary by artwork; check its page or contact me. Links to my print shops are included on the site.
Does an original come with a certificate of authenticity?
Every original artwork purchased directly from the studio includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
How do I check the dimensions and display options?
Check the individual artwork page. If dimensions are missing, or you need information about a frame, stand or hanging method, contact me about that particular work before purchasing.
